The Fresh Perspectives conference is an annual event that brings together leading figures in the contentious trusts space for an informative selection of sessions, followed by networking. After a two-year hiatus, following the effects of the pandemic, the conference organisers (Partners from Boodle Hatfield, Clifford Chance, Forsters, Stephenson Harwood and Taylor Wessing) were looking to kickstart the annual conference once again.
The organisers wanted to explore a digital solution to firstly, build a sense of community among attendees before, during and after the conference and secondly, take steps to minimise the use of physical supporting materials.
We worked with the conference organisers – after listening to their requirements – to develop a cross-device event app. Naturally, as a trusted partner agency, we turned to Fliplet as our app platform of choice.
The Fresh Perspectives event app allowed attendees to sign up and create their profile, prior to the event, and access all of the relevant information they were going to need for the duration of the event. This included a detailed and personalised itinerary of the sessions, logistics of the event, and a full directory of all attendees with chat functionality allowing networking via in-app messaging.
With the introduction of in-app and push notifications the event organisers were able to communicate with attendees in a much more natural way, rather than clogging up inboxes with unread emails.
